Spring/Summer 2025 Launch of Elk & Embers: Your Perfect Mountain Resort Getaway

We’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of Elk & Embers, an exclusive mountain resort in the heart of Western North Carolina! Launching on April 17, 2025, our stunning resort offers four unique accommodations: Creekside, Nuthatch, Goldfinch, and Tanager—perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat in nature.

Coming Soon:
By May 2025, we’ll be unveiling two more exceptional stays: the Hemlock Treehouse and Crabtree Cabin, each offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and Great Smoky Mountains forest. (Follow us on Instagram or Facebook for sneak peeks!)

But that’s just the beginning! We’re also excited to announce the construction of our 4,000 sq. ft. Lodge, featuring a bar, restaurant, and check-in area. Opening in Spring 2026, this new addition will provide expanded amenities and serve as the ideal venue for small events, weddings, family reunions, and more. What’s more, we will also be adding two additional accommodations for you to enjoy.

Getting Around
Upon arrival, a golf cart will be available for pick-up at the designated parking area to help you settle in and explore. While everything on our mountain resort property is within walking or hiking distance, the golf carts make it easy to transport your luggage, food, or enjoy a fun ride around the property. Safety is key—all guests must watch a brief safety video before using the carts.

The MarketShed also features a communal pavilion, cozy fire pit, stunning mountain views, and a tree hammock suspended over a picturesque creek—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration.
